Hello, Has anyone had any experience with the First-tier Tribunal (FTT) for market value case?

History is, tenant moved in and given 12 month AST in early 2020. They have not been given new AST or had rent raised since.

Scotland’s rent cap disaster – a warning to landlords and tenant groups everywhere

News this week that the rent cap in Scotland has led to higher rents will be a story ignored by the likes of Shelter, Generation Rent and Acorn.

But my first thought was, who’d have thunk it?

Private rents in Scotland soar by 14.3% in a year

UK rents soar by over a third above inflation in a year

UK renters are feeling the pinch as rents rose by more than a third above inflation in the past year, according to new data.

The Deposit Protection Service (The DPS) tracks the average monthly rent and it found that rents reached £1,121.46 in Q3 2023
