The London Renters Union has been slammed as a ‘rabble rousing group’ by the NRLA’s chief executive Ben Beadle after it protested outside the home of housing secretary Michael Gove.

Section 21 notice – Correct documentation to use?
Hello, I am a landlord with two AST’s, one that started in 2011 and another in 2013. Although these were let via a commercial letting agent, I do not appear to have the relevant documentation to issue a section 21.

BREAKING NEWS – UPDATED: Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has revealed that investigations are underway into Angela Rayner, Labour’s deputy leader, following allegations of electoral law breaches.

Rising tenant application fraud – landlords pay the price
Was anyone else surprised/not surprised to read that tenant application fraud has rocketed by 140%? For those working at the sharp end of the private rented sector, I doubt it.
My first reaction was why something like this isn’t being highlighted in the dreadful Renters (Reform) Bill as an issue that landlords should not have to put up with.
