While the tax and rule changes imposed on the Buy to Let (BTL) sector over the last few years have heightened the pressures felt by landlords and even forced some from the market altogether. Research from Moneyfacts.co.uk shows that the number of BTL products currently available is at a post financial crisis high.

Gold and Silver but all Red tape!
Southwark Council are proposing with a consultation to rate Private Sector landlords by a grading of ‘Gold’ and ‘Silver’ standard.
There are three sets of criteria to both standards comprising the landlord themselves, the standard of the property and the tenancies they offer.

It’s always me me me!

Norfolk police claim trespasser is a tenant?
Trespasser or Tenant? My local Norfolk police are stating a trespasser in my property is a tenant, because the trespasser claims an unknown party give them a tenancy. At the risk of getting a stupid answer, I will ask a stupid question.
