Stamp Duty on a block of 10 flats
I’m looking to buy a block of 10 flats and I’m a bit confused about how much SDLT I will need to pay. It appears there are several options.
The flats are all identical and I can purchase the whole block for £2,000,000 including the freehold and all 10 leases.

London’s housing crisis could be eased by building on vast swathes of unused brownfield land, according to new research.

It was commissioned by the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) and Paragon Bank, and it estimates the economic impact of landlords at a staggering £45 billion annually.

Shelter reveals that social rents are 60% cheaper than in the PRS
Social housing tenants enjoy rents that are 60% cheaper than private rented sector (PRS) tenants are paying, Shelter says.
The charity says the difference is £828 per month, on average, and is calling on all political parties to build more affordable social homes.
