Hi Sam,

Thanks for commenting on the post, unfortunately it looks like you have a landlady who isn't acting in a way befitting of keeping good tenants! Have you spoken to your local council about this? They can issue an improvements notice to your landlady to enforce works to be carried out if they are deemed a health hazard.

Alternatively if you have had enough and just want to move then you can register your details on our main site. It is a social networking site that landlords and tenants join for free and connect with one another. You can fill out your ideal property and location requirements along with your profile details. Landlords can then find and search for you as you can for their properties. You communicate directly through the site, this can simply be through the messaging system right up to voice or video chat, your profile provides all of this absolutely free. This way you can find out far more about one another before you waste time viewing properties that are ultimately not going to be right for both you and the landlord.

We hope that this helps.

Hi Nancy,You're right. A lease is definitely the more comomn of the two however certain landlords prefer rental agreements instead. Short-term rentals or furnished apartments often cater to temporary tenants such as foreign visitors. Rental agreements work better with these types of apartments. Thank you for posting!admin recently posted..
